| Description | Establishment for teaching and promoting circus arts * support for the emergence of a new generation of professional artists. Recreational sector: * Quebec City recreational classes: acrobatics on the floor or trampoline, manipulation (juggling), aerial exercises (trapeze, fabric), balance on beam, wire, stilts and unicycle, floor pyramid, clowning, dance, theater * Allons au cirque: introductory circus arts workshops (two to three hours) for groups of 10-90 people. * Summer day camps Higher education program service (DEC-DEE circus arts) : * Circus Arts - Generalist Circus Artist: program leading to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC - Cégep Limoilou) * Advanced training program (three years, 34 weeks/year) Professional support * Free training/practice * Private training (individual or group, maximum eight people) Events: * Graduates final exam show (March-April) * Jours de Cirque: end-of-year shows in various forms in the city and at school by graduate and recreational students (May-June) * End-of-session public presentations by graduate students (November) Clientele served: * Recreational classes for the general public, accessible to all levels and age groups. * “Allons au cirque” circus initiation workshops for companies, schools, organizations and individuals of all ages * Summer day camps for children aged 6 to 11 * One-year post-graduate preparatory program for students wishing to prepare for auditions * DEC Arts du cirque (Quebec and French students) and DEE (international students) for young artists and athletes aged 16 and over who wish to pursue a professional career as a contemporary circus artist. |
